It can incubate 6 million eggs and grow 1.5 million yearling smolts per year. This facility is used for salmon enhancement research and food production. The Seafarm is located on a 32 acre water lease lot in Jane Bay on Barclay Sound and is licensed to produce 550 MT of Chinook Salmon and a variety of other species. This is primarily a food production facility and is ideal for growing Chinook Salmon.
